Bowman Insurance specializes in insuring the Dental Community.
While many of their clients are in Kentucky and Indiana, they work with dentists and DSOs in almost every state. They have won numerous awards from multiple carriers and are members of the Million Dollar Round Table. Often, dentists first meet the Bowmans at one of their Lunch N Learns, which they do at University of Louisville (ULSD), University of Kentucky (UKCD), Indiana University (IUSD), and Meharry Medical College (MMCSD) in Tennessee.
Bowman Insurance was founded in 1992. During its early years, it grew into a husband and wife team that worked exclusively with dentists. At first, the agency focused on personal insurance—like life and disability—before expanding their services to include malpractice, business owners insurance, and other insurance solutions for the business side of dentistry. In 2010, David Bowman joined Bowman Insurance, and in 2012, Brandon Bowman joined. It wasn’t long before Keith and Cyndy realized the transition of ownership was the right path forward to continue their agency’s success. After much planning and preparation, they decided to hand the reigns over to their son, David, and nephew, Brandon, in January 2017. Keith and Cyndy remain part of Bowman Insurance.
For almost thirty years, Bowman Insurance has met with dental students at vendor fairs and participated in the Kentucky and Indiana State Dental Associations’ Annual Meetings. As an independent agency, they represent their clients instead of any one specific insurance company. They are proud to be a small, family business like many of their dentist clients.
