Brandon Bowman

Owner

Brandon is originally from Louisville, Ky, and went to Trinity High School. In 2006, he started at WKU. While there, he was a founding member of Phi Gamma Delta and Vice President of the Board of Directors for The $100 Solution, where he oversaw its transition from its humble beginnings as a passion project of the Prospect Goshen Rotary Club to a fully-fledged 501(c)(3) with over 300 projects in 15 countries.

Brandon owns a home in Germantown, and in his free time, he goes to the gym, volunteers, and tries to learn new skills; currently, he’s learning French.

Professionally, Brandon regularly lectures on insurance and risk management, including as an invited guest speaker of the Louisville Dental Society, other area study clubs, practice management courses at several schools, and the Dean’s Seminar at the University of Kentucky.

David Bowman

Owner

David was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. He attended St. X High School, and then went to WKU. While there, he was a member of the tennis team for all 4 years and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in marketing.

David lives in St. Matthews with his wife, Sara, daughter, Ellie, and son, Cameron. They have two boxers: Sydney and Walter. In his free time, he plays tennis, golf, and is an avid fan of University of Louisville football and basketball.

David regularly lectures on disability and health insurance, including as an invited speaker of practice management courses.

Dana Byrley

Policy Service Director

Dana was born and raised in Louisville, KY. After high school, she studied accounting at Bellarmine University. From 1996 to 2004 Dana loved being a stay at a home mom. Once her sons were in school, she began to pursue a hairdressing career. With 16 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, she continues to work as a hairdresser in Jeffersontown where she lives.

In her free time, Dana enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, attending concerts and festivals, cooking, crafting and being outdoors.

Cyndy Bowman

Controller

Cyndy Bowman, LUTCF, founded Bowman Insurance almost 30 years ago with her husband Keith. Her specialty has been on the dental malpractice, business property, and Worker’s Compensation area.

Prior to her career in the insurance industry she was a lab supervisor after earning a bachelor’s degree in biology and a Masters in education from the University of Louisville.

She and Keith have two grown children and three wonderful grandchildren.

Meet Cyndy

Teri Myers

Office Manager

Teri was born in California, raised in Colorado, and fell in love with Kentucky while serving in the U.S. Army. After her service she went on to receive her Associates of Arts from Aims Community College, then studied Business Administation at Purdue University.

In her free time she enjoys adventuring with her family, painting, exploring KY with the Blue Grass Gem and Mineral Club, and volunteering for the Active Heros Organization.
